Leonard LaMar Albrecht, our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend was called home to his Heavenly Father August 12, 2003.

He will be missed and loved by all his family: his wife, Sherma; daughters, Sandy (Jerry) Garvey, Cindy (Nolan) Hathcock; sons, Steven (Sherri), Dominique (Michele); and 14 grandchildren.

LaMar was born in Fremont, Utah, on June 9, 1932, to Leonard and Verda Albrecht. He had five brothers and one sister. He was an Eagle Scout, and he went to the College of Southern, Utah. He met and married Sherma in Loa, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He then honorably served in the Korean War. He loved doing genealogy work, sports, and being with his family and grandchildren, and driving Mail Truck for MaxWay Trucking.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at the L.D.S. Granger West 9th Ward, 3300 South 4440 West. The family will receive friends at a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the Ward.
