G.W. Malone Rites Today
RUSSELLVILLE -- George W. Malone, 72, died at his residence on Norton St., at
5:50 p.m., Wednesday.
He was a lifelong resident of Franklin County.
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at the residence with the Rev.
Charlie Thorne officiating. Interment took place at the Gravel Hill Cemetery
with Highsmith Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one daughter, Miss Gertrude Malone, Russellville; four sons, Brady
Malone, Russellville; Coleman, Shannon, and Tom Malone, all of Russellville, Rt.
7; one sister, Mrs. W.W. Wheeler, Hazelgreen, 24 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.
