Vera Beale passed away on Friday at Sutter Medical Center of a brief illness.
She was born in Tecumseh, Oklahoma and had been a Vallejo resident since 1956.
Vera leaves to mourn her passing: three daughters, Cheryl Manning (Pastor J. R. Manning), Lori Beale Gaines and Lisa Beale, all of Vallejo; two sons, Louie C. Beale Jr. and Clayton Beale, both of Vallejo; two brothers, Robert and Willie Rivers of Oklahoma City, OK; three sisters, Bernice Paysinger of Suisun, CA, Thelma Jackson of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mae Hill of Stockton, CA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. with a Quiet Hour from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St., Vallejo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 7, at Trinity Church of God in Christ, 1205 Taylor Ave., Vallejo. Burial will follow at Skyview Memorial Lawn, Vallejo.
