Son BRISTOL, Tenn. - Cecil Elwood Calhoun, 76, of 2148 Fifth St., went to be with the Lord on Feb. 28, 2004, from his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Calhoun had lived in the Bristol area all of his life, where he attended church at Fellowship Chapel. He retired from the Flavorich Company. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard C. Calhoun Sr. Survivors include wife of 52 years, Peggy Jean Smith Calhoun, Bristol Tennessee; two sons, Frank Calhoun and Joey Calhoun, Bristol Tennessee; one daughter, Kathy Dial and husband Jeff, Bristol Tennessee; grandchildren, Sheri Bradley and husband Alan, Samantha Calhoun, Tommy Dial and Meagan Dial; three brothers, Roosevelt Calhoun, J.P. Calhoun and R.C. Calhoun; one sister, Virginia Waddell, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Cecil Elwood Calhoun will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2004, in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel, with Rev. Bryan Hall and Rev. Scott Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at Weaver Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul R. Smith, Robert Smith, David Smith, Harold Smith and James E.
