Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Rose Bauer, who died the previous Saturday at Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane. The Rev. Alfred Carter officiated at the rites in the Danekas and Duncan funeral home chapel. Burial was in the Ritzville memorial cemetery. A reisdent of the Ritzville area for 52 years, Mrs. Bauer was a member of Marcellus Grange, American Legion Auxiliary and Trinity Methodist church.

Survivors include her husband, Sol Bauer, and a son Delano at home; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Heinemann and Mrs. Albert Pinnow both of Ritzville; three brothers; Fred Schafer of Ritzville, Joe Schafer of Hillyard and Edwin Schafer of Washtucna. She is also surived by three half-brothers; Conrad Schafer of Post Falls Idaho and Jake and Will Schafer both of Ritzville.
