Mr. Bauer, a lifetime Ritzville resident, died Monday. He graduated RHS and attended Washington State University, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Faternity. Mr. Bauer worked as a salesman for the Ritzville Trading Compay, later becoming the store manager in the implement department.
In 1936 he married Geraldine "Gerry" Pence in Ritzville in 1947 and they moved to the Bauer farm west of Ritzville, where they farmed for 25 years. They retired in 1972 and moved to Ritzville. ----
He is survived by his wife; a son and two daughters (names deleted for privacy); a brother Alber Bauer of Ritzville and 8 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
