Funeral Mass will be 11. a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Campus Parish with Father Tom Page officiating. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pritchard Cemetery in Elwell.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Rogers-Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with the rosary service beginning at 7330 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Brian Donley Fund may be left at the funeral home.
He was born July 27, 1954, in Alma, the son of Francis and Jean (Bund) Donley, and graduated from Alma High School in 1972. He attended Ferris State College in Big Rapids, and then worked for Kroger Stores for over 10 years.
In 1987, he earned his insurance license, and has been an area representative for the Equitable Life Assurance Co. since Jan. 1, 1998.
He was a member of St. Paul's Campus Parish in Big Rapids, and was the area chairman for Ducks Unlimited.
In 1986, he married Cindi Cross, who survives him.
Also surviving are one son, Ryan, at home; his mother and stepfather, Jean (Gene) Kanitz of Alma; one sister, Diana (Terry) Martin of St. Louis; one brother, Dennis (Becky) Donley of Barryton; five nephews; three nieces; one great-nephew, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
