BERT DYKGRAAF SUCCUMBS AT 81
Bert Dykgraaf, 81, died at his home at 15597 Quincy St., early this morning following an illness of four weeks.
Born in the Harderwyk area, Dykgraaf lived in this community all his life except for 25 years spent in Grand Rapids.
In 1965 he returned to the present address and operated the Dykgraaf Blueberry farm until retirement in 1961.
He was a member of the Harderwyk Christian Reformed Church and had been active in the men's society there.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Bazan Dykgraaf; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Alyda) Warren of Grand Rapids, one son, Chester J. Dykgraaf of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren, Craig J, Kristine and Eric Dykgraaf.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Harderwyk Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. Richard J. Venema officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home cemetery.
Friends may meet the family at the Notier-Ver-Lee-Langeland Chapel Saturday from 7 to 9 and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
