Fred B. Breshears
CALDWELL: Fred B. Breshears, 79, of Homedale, a lifetime Idahoan, died early Thursday in his home.

Mr. Breshears was born March 9, 1882, in Ada County near the present site of Star and was married July 18, 1904 in Boise to Flora Corron and they farmed near Star until 1923. They moved to Caldwell in 1930 and later lived in Boise. He logged for a number of years until 1942, when he moved to the Mesa Orchards and worked there for seven years. The couple since had lived in Homedale.

He was a member of the Star Christian church.

Surviving in addition to Mrs. Breshears are two sons, W. Merle of Boise and Virgil of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Mrs. J. F. Gibson of Homedale and Mrs. Howard Graham of Milwaukie, Ore.; a brother, J. W. Breshears of Strathmore, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Florence Means of Nampa, 14 grand children and 20 great grandchildren. A son, Irvin Breshears, preceded him in death.

The Peckham-Dakan Davis chapel is arranging services.
