Funeral services for Mr. Buddy Ware, 64, of Rayville, LA will be 10:30 AM Friday, December 23, 2005, at Rayville First Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Winburn and Rev. Joe Senn officiating. Interment will follow at Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville, LA.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Rayville First Baptist Church sanctuary.

Buddy was born May 25, 1941 in Dehlco, LA and passed away on December 20, 2005at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, LA. Buddy attended First Baptist Church of Rayville, where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years. He owned Ware Oil Company in Rayville. He served on the Board of Directors at First Republic Bank and Riverfield Academy of Rayville. He also served on the Boeuf River Soil and Water Conservation Board. Over the years, he was an avid supporter of the Richland Parish 4-H Club.

Buddy was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Murray Ware; his father, Ford Ware;a brother, Joe Ware and a sister-in-law, Lana Futch.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Peck Ware of Rayville, LA; daughters Lisa Beard and her husband Greg of Alexandria, LA; Lora Head and her husband David of Rayville, LA;Amy Moon of Start, LA; mother, Pearl Ware of Rayville, LA; sister, Jenny Doughty of Rayville, LA;brother, Jim Ware and his wife Carolyn of Weatherford, TX; mother-in-law, Wilma Murray Moore of Monroe, LA; brother-in-law, Jerry Futch of Monroe, LA; sister-in-law, Lynthia Piccione and her husband Ron of Summerville, SC; stepchildren, Russel Shaffer and his wife Michele of Baton Rouge, LA; and Missy Shaffer of Opelousas, LA; grandchildren, Rachel, Katie and Mallory Head, Tyler Beard, Sophie Moon, and Julia Shaffer and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Branch, David Branch, Ken Branch, Dan Branch, Todd Morris,Tim Morris, Dr. Chris Morris and Dr. Nathan Morris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rayville First Baptist Church, Riverfield Academy in Rayville, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
