Leo F. Worland, 82, died at 7:55 p.m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clem V. Henning, 152 Pennsylvania. Worland was a retired special agent for the Mill Owners Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Des Moines and a member of the Mississippi Mutual Agents Association. He was a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society of the church, and St. Joseph Orphans Society. He was a Shelbyville native. Survivors include three other daughters, Mrs. Hugh H. McKenzie Indianapolis; Mrs. George E. Hays, Jr., and Mrs. Edward Knabel; three sons, James E. Worland, Indianapolis; Paul W. Worland, Chattanooga, and Jack C. Worland; 41 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Leonard Church. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. The body will be at Barrett Funeral Home, 1230 Bardstown Road, after 6 p.m. Monday.
