LOVE - Dr. Eleanor Young, 83, of Louisville died Friday, July 14, 2006, after battling a long illness. She was Professor Emeritus of University of Louisville, a longtime member of Westwood Presbyterian Church, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Lincoln Foundation Board of Trustees, Project Women, Inc., M.O.L.E.S., Inc., and Kentucky State University National Alumni Association, to name a few. Dr. Love was a member of numerous bridge and social clubs. She received dozens of awards, commendations, certificates of appreciation and merit, citations, honors, fellowships and Who's Who listings. She is survived by her daughter, Laura; and son, David. Funeral: Wednesday, 11a.m. at Central Presbyterian Church, 318 W. Kentucky St. Entombment: Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. & 6-8p.m. at A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St. Expression of Sympathy donations to Whitney M. Young Scholars Program, 200 W.
