John F. Worland Sr., 71, died Thursday at his home. He was a retired production scheduler of MIBCO Inc., a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Highland Post 201 and German-Paristown Neighborhood Association. Survivors: sons John F. Jr. and James L. Worland; daughters Cheryl W. Ackerman, Cathy W. Mosby and Mary Beth Worland; a brother, George O. Worland; sisters Helen Loew, Anna Littrell, Mary Lou Thompson, Christine Winslow and Jean Worland; and six grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Therese Catholic Church, 1010 Schiller Ave. Burial: Calvary. Visitation: Bosse, Barrett and Ellison Avenues, 4-9 p.m. Saturday and 1-9 p.m. Sunday. Memorial gifts: Mass of the Air.
