Lorenzo D. Sutherland, 77, retired guard for P. Lorillard Company, tobacco firm, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at his home, 223 N. 26th. He was a native of Adair County and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Theresa Schulz Sutherland; a son, Albert H. Sutherland; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Floyd and Mrs. Lee Hash, both of Campbellsville; a brother, Henry Sutherland, also of Campbellsville, and a grandchild. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ratterman's, 2114 W. Market. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
