Kevin F. Ahern, 50, of 3125 Red Bud Lane, died there Saturday. He was an inventory controller for Pepsi Bottling Co. and a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mary R. Ahern; a son, David Ahern; a daughter, Dana R. Ahern; and two brothers, Byron Ahern of Virginia Beach, Va., and Desmond Ahern. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 3054 Hikes Lane, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery [Calvary Cemetery]. Visitation at Arch L. Heady Hikes Point Funeral Home, 4109 Taylorsville Road, will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
