David Botdorf passed away at about 5 o'clock Thursday evening at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. E. Lutz, No. 420 East Walnut street. death was caused from complications of diseases and old age. Deceased had lived in this city for three years. He had reached the advanced age of eighty-one years, and his wife preceded him in death twelve years ago. They are survived by the following children; Mrs. C. E. Lutz, Geo. B. Botdorf and Samuel Botdorf; all of Ashland; and Mrs. J. R. Heffelfinger and Mrs. Ross Hootman, both residing in Jeromesville.
Funeral at Jeromeville, where deceased formerly lived on Sunday morning at the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment in Jeromeville cemetery.
