WEST FORK — Wathena June McAdoo, 89, of West Fork, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
She was born June 25, 1920 at Coffeyville, Kansas, the daughter of Alex and Lila Barker Hammond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray McAdoo November 15, 1993; a son, Sanford McAdoo & a grandson, Jerod Kiley Boyd.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Deon McAdoo of West Fork; two daughters, Carlene Paulk & her husband Bob of West Fork, Susan LaRae Boyd & her husband Jerry of West Fork; two sisters, JoAnn Wood of Greenland, Donna Leming of Patrick; four grandchildren, Jimmy McAdoo, Owen Ray McAdoo & his wife Chrissi, Cindy McAdoo & Whitney Boyd; six great-grandchildren, Kelsey Franklin, Ragen Franklin, Riley Franklin, Conner McAdoo, Brenna McAdoo & Carson Jones; two sisters-in-law, LaVaughn Hammond of Farmington, Sue Hammond of Fayetteville; numerous nieces, nephews and friends
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 8 at Moore's Chapel.
Officiating will be Rev. Randy Burris.
Burial will be in Zinnamon Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Friday at Moore's Chapel
