OBITUARY

This entire community was shocked Sunday afternoon when the word came that Bradley ANDERSON had died suddenly from a heart attack which came on him at his home at Farnsworth. Mr. ANDERSON was in the yard at the time of the attack and lived but a short time after being taken into his home.

The deceased was engaged in the grain and oil business at Farnsworth and also was a very extensive farmer. He was a successful business man and his sudden demise brought sorrow to a large circle of friends and acquaintances.

Bradley ANDERSON was born November 7, 1872 in Wayne county, Kentucky, and passed to his reward at Farnsworth on September 7, 1930, at the time of death being 57 years and 10 months of age. He lived in his native county until 1906 when he moved with his family to Supply, Oklahoma, where they made their home until 1920, when they came to this county.

On March 14, 1894, he was united in marriage with Miss Pollyana NEAL of Cummins City, Kentucky. To this union, nine children, five daughters and four sons, were born, all of whom survive, with one exception, Samuel, who died December 27, 1921. Loved ones left behind are the wife, Mrs. Bradley ANDERSON, Farnsworth; Mrs. Jesse EADS, Woodward, Oklahoma; Mrs. Samuel LEWIS, Mrs. John KING, Mrs. Miles PEARSON and Mrs. Harland HAROLD, all of Farnsworth; Bradley ANDERSON Jr., Sherman ANDERSON and Harold ANDERSON, also of Farnsworth. Four brothers and two sisters survive, of whom one sister, Mrs. Frank WALDEN, Ethel, Missouri, was present. Fifteen grandchildren also survive.

Bradley ANDERSON leaves a host of friends to mourn his death. He was a loving husband and a kind father, a true friend and neighbor and a good citizen.

Funeral services were conducted at the Christian church in this city on Wednesday afternoon by Rev. C.E. Fike, pastor of the Methodist church, assisted by Rec. C. Lex Shelby and Rev. L. O. Byerly, after which the remains were laid in the final resting place in the Ochiltree cemetery. He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge and that organization had charge of the services at the grave.
