Marie, also known as Mine, was born 8 April 1904 in Kovno, Russia, now Kaunas, Lithuania. She was married, first, to Irwin Kassoff—beside whom she is buried—and second, to Lawrence J. Herrin. She died Wednesday, 15 September 1999, at Beaumont, Texas. Survivors included members of the Vener, Kassoff, Ginsburg, Kaplan, Goldfield, and Dannenbaum families.
