Steven Charles Painter has gone to be with our Lord. He passed away at the Hospice House of Odessa, Texas on July 12, 2009. Steve was born February 19, 1953 in Camp Rucker, Alabama to Charlie and Wilma Painter. He was a Christian and a Carpenter.

Memorial Service will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel in Lovington, New Mexico, Wednesday, July 15, at 2:00 PM with Billy Lewis officiating. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughter Jesika and her husband Zack Jewell of Lovington, NM, his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Dustin Traylor of Midland, Texas, his son Charlie Painter of the 82nd Airborne in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, his brother Newt Painter and his wife Laron of Odessa, Texas and his step-mother Maxine Painter of Lovington, NM.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers special donation can be made to the wonderful Hospice House of Odessa (903 North Sam Houston, Odessa, Texas 79762) in Steve's honor. Thank you and God Bless you all for all of your support and prayers.
