Twelve years ago he was united in marriage with Miss Catherine Quinn of this city at a ceremony performed in St Patrick's Catholic church. Gulbrandson was employed as a glass cutter at National Plate Glass in Naplate, Il until his fatal illness which began about nine months ago.
He is survived by his widow and two children Irene and John (Raymond) of this city, his mother, Mrs Minnie Gulbrandson, a brother Arthur Gulbrandson of Marseilles, a brother Berger Gulbrandson and a sister Mrs John (Gertrude) Lettesome of Racine, WI
The pallbearers were Fred Mann, Carl Mattes, Herman Olson, Les Kingle and Paul Brundage.
John's last name was changed to Gulbranson by the postal service sometime after his fathers death in 1908.The name was changed again to Gulbronson after his death.
