Parents had nine children. At age 24, married to Miss Martha Love, daughter of Gen. Thos. Love of North Carolina. To Texas in 1854, to Henry County, where his wife died leaVing four children. In 1845, married to Miss Lucretia P. Lambdin, daughter of Rev. Wm. Lambdin. Ordained a deacon Nov. 28, 1847.
