Born March 11, 1922 in Covington, a daughter of David and Elma (Griffith) Roberds.
Her mother died Feb. 16, 1923 and she was raised by Leslie and Della Griffith of Hillsboro.
Mary worked at the Orient State Institution for 20 years, and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sedalia.
She married Frank R. Kelley of Hillsboro on Jan. 1, 1942.
Preceeded in death by her husband on Nov. 14, 1999; son, Henry D. Kelley on Oct. 23, 1994; brother, David Roberds of Maryland; sister, Noami Krebs of Hillsboro.
Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Patricia Kelley of London; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Steve Allison of London; daughter-in-law, Diana Kelley of London; grandchildren, Christina and Mitch Finney, Greg and Kara Kelley, Jill Kelley, Raymond and Becky Kelley; Amy and Mike Rheinscheld, Lori Allison and Cari Allison; four great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Mary and Howard Wylie of Hillsboro.
The family invites friends to call at the Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home, London from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002. Internment will follow in Paint Township Cemetery. The Rev. Gordon Ell will be officiating.
