Rev. Dr. Clarence Eugene Allen was the son of Rev. Dr. Charles Thompson and Elnora Ella (Root) Allen. He was the husband of Charlotte Elizabeth "Lottie" (Rich) Allen. They were married July 24, 1894. Charlotte died May 28,1952. Rev. Allen was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church/The Methodist Church: Detroit Conference 1894 F 1896 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference by transfer 1908.
