Funeral services for Julie Mae KIRBY were held Thursday, December 17, 1998 at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with Rev. Raymond MULLIN officiating. Burial will be in the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery.
Julie Mae KIRBY was born August 14, 1908 in Westville, Okla., to Frank and Nannie EDGEMON KIRBY. She departed this life December 11, 1998 in Westville at he age of 90 years, 3 months and 17 days. She was a nurse and homemaker. She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in California, Westville Nursing Home and was a home health nurse in the Westville area for several years. Julie was married to Tom KIRBY on March 30, 1929 in Missouri. She was of the Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom KIRBY; one son Ruben KIRBY; one grandson, Bob EBERT; three sisters, Dollie PALONE, Ova THURMAN and Virgie RHEA.
Julie is survived by two daughters; Rose Ebert and Mary Walton both of Westville. One daughter in law, Onie Kirby of Anderson, MO, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren
