Webb, Foster Axon (The Chester County Independent, April 5, 1946)

Foster Axon Webb, 57 years of age, passed away suddenly Wednesday. Death resulted from a heart attack. He was a prominent farmer and member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Webb; two sons, Murray Webb of this community, and Robert Webb of Pensacola, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Audrey Davis of Merrifield, Va., Mrs. Clifford Haynes of Louisville, Miss., Bonnie Webb of Guntown, Miss., and Taylor Webb of Saltillo, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Stovall of this community, Mrs. Dora Weems of Bolivar, and Mrs. Lou Wilson of McCloud, Okla.
Funeral services were held at Friendship Saturday morning, Rev. G. G. Joyner and Rev. J. G. Cooper officiating. Burial was in New Friendship cemetery with Morgan's Funeral Home in charge.
The following served as pallbearers: Carl McAdams, F. L. Seaton, Jr., Hubert Seaton, Willard Seaton, Cleo Sells, and Beacham Carroll.
