Jonathan Dunham is the son of Capt Jonathan Dunham and Mary Spencer. Jonathan married about 1730 Conneticut to Elizabeth Unknown. Mary, Elizabeth, Soloman, Esther, Lydia. His death is mentioned in the Sharon Records and says: Jonathan Jr died Oct 29 1740 and Capt Jonathan died Feb 28 1744/45. Jonathan is presumed to be buried in Hillside Cemetery where is father is buried. After his death Elizabeth married one of his cousins, Samuel Dunham, and she had 4 more sons. All her sons were in the battles of Saratoga during the Revolution.

The distribution (3:10) 25 Oct 1762, calls Lydia wife of John Pettit, and the dec'd sister Elisabeth wife of John Marvin ye 3d.
