Mary Lewis was the daughter of Thomas Parker and Elixabeth (Dameron) Lewis.

Mary married January 21, 1847 in Richmond County, Virginia, to John Corbin Brann. John Corbin Brann died fighting for the Confederacy in Virginia in 1862. He died in a Danville, Virginia, Hospital.
