His death certificate said he was buried in St. Mary cemetery. (He died in Kansas City as a widower with former wife's name unknown.) So this effort is assuming this is the correct cemetery.

He (at age 43) was married to Ethel (at age 37) and they lived in Kansas City in 1930 in the home of Ralph Phenicie (age 40) and his family. (Ethel's brother?) She was born in MO with father born in MO and mother born in KY. Ralph Phenicie was born in Kansas, with parents born in IL and KS so that suggests Ralph and Ethel were not siblings.
Analysis of Ralph Phenicie's family finds no sister named Ethel but a sister named Ella L Phenicie born in 1893 so there is no evidence that Ethel was related to Ralph Phenicie.... however Ethel could have been related to Ralph Phenicie's wife Hazel age 37. I have not figured out her maiden name however.
The "Age at First Marriage" column stated that Ardie was 19 and Ethel was 20 when first married (but not necessarily to each other.) That would have suggest that he was married to someone before Ethel. They were married in 1912 when he was 25 and she was 19ish. So that suggests she was not married before Ardie.
Any help is appreciated.
