Mr. Charles Roy Fine was born June 17, 1925 in Sloans Chapel community, Oklahoma, the son of William Fine and Flora Daisy Cheek Fine. He was married to Maggie Lou Hill on April 5, 1945 in Antioch, California. She preceded him in death on June 12, 1983 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Fine was a retired milkman from Meadow Gold and a rancher and farmer. He attended Akins Baptist Church. Mr. Fine passed this life on August 1, 2009 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 84 years, 1 month and 15 days. He is survived by three daughters and sons in law, Jeanette and Harold Tounzen of Sallisaw, OK, Charity and Jerry Richardson of Sallisaw, OK, and Barbara and Tommy Sharp of Okay, OK; one son, Roy Fine of Sallisaw, OK; three grandchildren, Diane Tounzen Hine, Tina Fine Decker and Charles Anthony Fine; seven great grandchildren, Jennifer and Heather Hutchinson, Charles Tounzen, Britney Richardson, Nichole and Nicholas Gose and Matthew Fine; three sisters, Gladys Masterson, Mable Humphrey and Mary Hope Spears, all of Sallisaw, OK; one brother, Billy Fine of Antioch, CA and special friend, Doris Long. He was preceded in death by his wife, 1 grandson: Jerry Max Richardson, 3 sisters: Joyce Price, India Fine and Madge Chuculate and 4 brothers: Noel, Joel, Dale and Jack Fine. Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 at 10 am at Akins Baptist Church. Interment will be in Akins Cemetery.
