Aged 85. Son of John and Sarah Maples; married 1) Hannah Dart of Norwich; 2) Mrs. Anna Barnes Brumley Rogers, widow of Dewey Brumley and widow of James Rogers. She died at Lebanon, Connecticut May 15, 1849.
He was deputy from Norwich to the General Court and representative to the General Assembly from Bozrah
in 1843 [Bromley Genealogy].
