Hermosa Pilot, Hermosa, SD, 6 March 1891: "DIED KEEPERS-- On March 3rd, 1891, of inflamation [sic] of the bowels, Mrs. Louisa E. Keepers, wife of Frank Keepers; aged 18 years and 5 months. KEEPERS--On March 2nd , 1891, of spinal disease, William Wayne, son of Frank and Louisa E. Keepers, aged 3 months and three weeks. A family is thus shattered in a day, and Mr. Keepers left to mourn alone. He moved to this country from Yankton, this state, a little over a year ago. The papers of Yankton and Scotland are requested to notice the death of Mrs. Keepers."
