OBITUARY OF ROBERT E. BOOK
Robert E. Book, 60, 320 N. Fifth St., died at 12:30 am today in Marion General Hospital. He was born in Wyandot County on April 18, 1924 and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil (Cleo Swartz) Book. On August 30, 1946, he was married to Rita Stief and she survives. Employed 38 years at the Quaker Oats Company in Marion, he was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church here and was associated with the Salvation Army here for 22 years.
Other survivors are: six sons, Thomas, Dale, Charles, Gary, Jack and Donald, all of Upper Sandusky; three daughters, Mrs. Duane (Barbara) Ruth and Mrs. Dennis (Diane) Wagner, both of Nevada; and Sharon at home; three brothers, Bernard of Alameda, CA., Harold of Angleton, TX; and Richard of Seattle, WA; and five grandchildren.
The Rev. John Hoover will officiate the service in Lucas Funeral Home at 1:30 pm Wednesday. Burial will be in Old Mission Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are after 2:00 pm Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandot County Unit, American Cancer Society.
