Fay Russell
Fay RUSSELL, 83, 134 Jefferson street, Rochester, died at 7:30 a.m.Tuesday at his home. He had been ill for several years and seriously ill for the past twelve months.
Born January 25, 1891 in Gilead, Indiana, he was the son of Wallace J. and Hattie ANGLEMEYER RUSSELL. He was married September 5, 1909 to Theresa Reba BRICKEL. She preceded him in death June 6, 1974. He was a retired plumbing contractor, a member of the Eagles Lodge and had lived in Rochester his entire life.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Mildred) McCONKEY, Mrs. Carl (Pauline) [HENRICKS] and Mrs. Lewis (Betty) SHAMBARGER, all of Rochester; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Leone GARDNER, Santa Anna, Cal., and three half-brothers, Lewis and Cecil McHENRY, South Bend, and Robert L. McHENRY, Mishawaka.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at theZimmerman Brothers funeral home. The Rev. Donald MAUGHAN will officiate. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
