OBITUARY

MRS. EFFIE FERRIS

Mrs. Effie Ferris, aged 85, of Westville, died Wednesday night at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Ferris was born on October 22, 1870, in the Town of Middlefield, daughter of Lorenzo and Phoebe (Pay) Eckler. She was married to Charles Ferris in Milford on December 22, 1893. He died October 30, 1943.
She was a member of the Westville Methodist Church and its WSCS.
Surviving is a son, Clifford of Westville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Westville Methodist Church, with the Rev; Philip N. Pitcher, pastor, officiating. The body will be placed in the Tillapaugh Funeral Home vault for burial later in Westville Cemetery.
