Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home for Mrs. Inez King, age 92, who passed away August 14, 2011 at Lawrence County Personal Care Home in Monticello, MS. Interment followed at Wilks Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.
Rev. L. C. Anthony and Rev. Robert Cooper officiated. Pall bearers were Danny Sanders, Keith Lundy, Jeff Jennings, Mike Sappington, Bradley Black and Danny Mullins.
A native of Mississippi, Inez Rebecca King was born on November 16, 1918. She was the daughter of Bert King and Mittie Carter King. She worked as a Clerk for Loves Department Store for many years. She was a member of Dublin Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her nephew, Danny Mullins of New Hebron, MS and a niece, Becky Sappington of Fairhope, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Webb King, two brothers and two sisters.
