Memorial services for John S. Adams, 70, of Arizona City, are scheduled at 10 a.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church of Eloy, with the Rev. Julie Swanson officiating.
Mr. Adams was born Nov. 10, 1910 at Delta, Iowa, and died Feb. 22, 1990 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. He moved to Arizona City in 1986. Mr. Adams was a member of the Eloy United Methodist Church and American Legion Post No. 319 in Sekwick, Iowa. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; one son, Stephen, who is in the United States Army in Berlin, Germany; three daughters, Joyce Dial of Lees Summit, Missouri, Nancy Jacobs, of Bettendorf, Iowa and Becky Clingan, of Pataskala,
Ohio; one sister, Mary Kitzman, of Deep River, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by Casa Grande Funeral Home.
