Mrs. Milo Mansfield, aged 51 yrs, died of a complication of diseases about 5 pm on Monday at her home, 108 S. Doxtater Ave. Her illness dated from February last. Her maiden name was Nettie Wheeler and she was born in the town of Verona Aug. 12, 1852. There she married and resided there till the family came to Rome about 30 yrs ago. Besides her husband she leaves her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Zenas Wheeler of this city, four children, Mrs. Cyrus W. Carpenter, Mrs. Benjamin Armstrong, Mrs. John Fay, and Frank Mansfield, all of Rome, two brothers, Henry Wheeler of Talcottville, Lewis County, and Albert Wheeler of Rome, and five sisters, Mrs. F. M. Wilson, Rome, Mrs. Walter Potter, Oriskany, Mrs. George Tulley, Fort Plain, Mrs. W. J. King, Hoboken, Mrs. Alfred Boulant, Stacy Basin. Mrs. Mansfield was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church and during her residence here has made many friends who will regret to learn of her death.
