On June 8, 2008, RUTH LORRAINE CURL (nee McKnew). Beloved wife of the late Richard Eugene; loving mother of Katherine V. Cohen and her husband, Harvey of Millersville, MD and Rebecca A. Collins and her husband, Kenneth of Columbia; and devoted sister to the late Clinton A. McKnew and his wife, Mildred. Also survived by four grandchildren, Jessica Cohen Cross, Stuart Cohen, Kenny Collins, Jr. and Chris Riding; and two great-grandchildren, Haley Cross and Braylon Riding. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 10 a.m. at Woodside United Methodist Church, 8900 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery, 12800 Viers Mill Rd., Rockville, MD. Family and friends may pay respects at the home of Katherine and Harvey Cohen from 2 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2008. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Maryland, 1850 York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
