Théodore Vienne founded together with Maurice Perez the famous Paris-Roubaix cycle race, one of the oldest cycle races in the world. The first edition of Paris-Roubaix took place on the 19 Th. of April 1896 with Jozef Fischer as winner of the race. Théodore Vienne is buried at Père Lachaise in Paris.
