Cassie B. "CB" Leonard, age 74, of Loudon, passed peacefully at Loudon Healthcare Center on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, surrounded by his family and friends.
CB was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Clinton Pallet in Clinton, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Josephine Leonard; son, Timothy "Tim" Leonard; daughter-in-law, Linda Leonard; four sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his daughter, Susie Worley and her husband, Andy, of Madisonville; son, Daniel "Danny" Leonard of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Amy King, Andrew King, Kristopher King and Kelsey Worley, all of Madisonville, Rachel McKee of Sweetwater, and Noah Leonard of Cleveland, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Brandon Hall and Jacob Patterson, both of Madisonville, Damien and Karley McKee, both of Sweetwater; brothers, James Leonard of Madisonville and Jackie Leonard of Loudon; sisters, Kate Haun and her husband, Jessie, of Rockford, Ill., Jean Knox and her husband, Earl, of Fayetteville, Tenn., Stella Scott of Loudon; special friend, Alice Clemmer of Lenoir City; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. The Rev. Raymond McJunkin and Chaplain Clay Mulford will officiate. Family and friends will gather at Click Funeral Home by 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and proceed to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenoir City for 11 a.m. graveside services with the Rev. Glen Gattenby officiating.
