Louise Robinson Fitzgerald, 90, went to join her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 16, 2008 at Avante of Waynesboro. The daughter of the late Muriel Mowry and Samuel Lee Robinson, Louise was born in Waynesboro on October 11, 1918.
After her marriage to the late CWO Windom D. Fitzgerald, she spent over fifty years of her life in the Hampton, Virginia area. She was a long time and retired employee of Colonial Stores.
One son, Windom D. Fitzgerald, his wife Martha, and their children Christopher, Justin, and Ashley, all of Orlando, Florida, survive her.
Preceded in death by her oldest son, Randolph M. Fitzgerald, Sr., she is survived by one grandson Randolph M. Fitzgerald, Jr. of Hampton.
Louise was the sister of the late Hallie R. Hamrick, Susie R. Harris, and Cecil M. Robinson.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Mary R. and Raymond Bragg of Waynesboro; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2009 at McDow Funeral Home, by Rev. Dr. John McDonald. There will be a private interment in Riverview Cemetery prior to the services.
