BRIAN GERARD LANGE, 51 years of age, passed away on July 31, 2009 at Florida Hospital South in Orlando. Mr. Lange was born 1957 in Pittsfield, Mass to Alcide and Anne Lange. He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the US Army for 21 years where he served in combat in the Persian Gulf War. He was a dutiful and dedicated father who took an active role in his children's activities which included sports. He enjoyed golf, and was an avid Red Sox fan. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Julie Lange, Sanford,FL.; daughter,
Jennifer (Brent) Bailey, Winter Springs, FL.; sons, Jace and Jared Lange, both of Sanford; brothers, Mark and Todd Lange, both of Pittsfield, Mass; sisters, Patricia Wahlberg, Tolland, CT and Elizabeth Seekins, Ft. Wayne, IN; and grandchild, Saige Bailey, Winter Springs. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church 700 Rinehart Road, Lake Mary, FL. at 5 PM on Tuesday, August 4th. He will be laid to rest at a later date with military honors at the Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of GRAMKOW FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY,Sanford, FL.
