OBIT; CHILDRESS - J. W. Arnn To Be Buried Here This Afternoon
The funeral of J. W. Arnn, 70, who died Sunday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Free, is being conducted this afternoon at First Methodist Church by Rev Orion W. Carter, assisted by Rev Charles T. Tally of First Baptist church.
Pall bearers are Carl Parrish, Leo Parrish, Ewell Johnson, Noel Johnson, Sherman Smith and Buel Nance. Flowers are in charge of Mmes. Jimmy Williamson, Dewey Smith, Ollie Witcher, Frank Weddington, Paul Rogers, Elbert Kelley and Miss Elizabeth Burns.
Mr. Arnn has been a resident of Littlefield in recent years. Survivors in the immediate family are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Trigg of Alvin and Mrs. Free; and six sons, E. F. and A. M of Littlefield, V. L. and E. J. of Childress, Bill of Centralia, Ill, and Tom of Tyler.
Other relatives here for the funeral include Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Tunnel of Lake Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. George Smith and son, Thurman, of Morton, Mrs. J. H. Arnn of Oklahoma City and Mrs. G. L. Beene and daughter Linda Gayle of Clovis, N. M.
