Charlotte - Jeffrey Edward Rhodes, 38, of Charlotte, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at his residence.
A native and resident of Henderson County prior to moving to Charlotte, he was a son of Larry E. Rhodes of Hendersonville and Teresa Parris of Fletcher.
He was a graduate of Faith Christian Day, had received his BSBA from Appalachian State University and his MBA for the University of Phoenix. He was employed by Wachovia for 13 years, and was the Vice President of Treasury Finance Technology. He was a member of Hooper's Creek Baptist Church and a member of Delta Chi.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Rev. Lawrence and Emily Rhodes; maternal grandparents, Don and Marie Pittillo along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hooper's Creek Baptist Church, with the Revs. Lawrence Rhodes and Steven Combs officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
