PRICE--Henry Hans Bird, age 83, passed away June 22, 1999 at his home in Price.

He was born October 26, 1915 in Salina, Utah, to John Henry and Amie C. Nielsen Bird. He married Leah Humphrey in February of 1951.He will be remembered in the community for his sewing machine and vacuum cleaner repair business. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He also loved to dance. He spent many years working with the youth as a coach for basketball and softball teams.

He is survived by his children, John (Kimberly) Bird of Price; and LeAnn (Bob) Lamph of Ogden; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother, Carlyle Bird, and two sisters, Maida Bardsley and his twin sister, Helen Christensen. He was preceded in death by his wife Leah Bird, his parents and numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 26, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. in the Price 3rd Ward LDS Chapel, located at 3rd West and 5th South. Friends may call Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary or one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Price City
