Benjamin, wrote a book on our family geneology. He was a scholar. He linked our family back to the Christopher Branch that arrived from England and started his life as the owner of a plantation and as a planter in the Jamestown area of Virgina in the 1640's!

He was active in the Friends Meeting of Washington, serving as Historian. The collection contains personal papers and materials relating to the Conference of Friends in America. Series 1 contains genealogical information and Hoge family letters. Series 2 includes materials on the Conference of Friends in the Americas, held in Wichita, Kansas, in 1977, with related correspondence, 1977-1992."
