Frederick McPherson of the 1600 block of Rhodes St., a machine operator, died December 3, 1991, in his home.

Mr. McPherson was born in Norfolk. He had been employed by Dixie Manufacturing Co. for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife, Carmazine McPherson; a daughter, Ashley R. McPherson of Chesapeake; five sisters, Dorothy Sumner of Virginia Beach, Elaine Mallory of Portsmouth and Ann Little, Virginia Lewis and Ann Taylor, all of Norfolk; and six brothers, Rainey Lassiter of East Orange, N.J., Melvin Lassiter of Newark, N.J., William Lassiter of Fredericksburg, James McPherson of Philadelphia, Harry McPherson of Dorchester, Mass., and Walter McPherson of Pachuta, Miss.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Christian Temple United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
