Gerald Boyd Carter, 91, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather entered into reston Saturday, May 24, 2008 in Housto. He was born in Walker County, Texas. He is preced in death by his parents, several brohers and sisters and his granson, Bobby Duane Carter. He will be missed dearly by his wife of 69 years, Verda Nell; children Wronell B. Carter and wife Sherrill, Charlie B. Carter and wife Betty, and Elizabeth I. Medina and husband Edward; grandchildren, Melanie Moore, Kimberly Carranza, Ronald Medina and five great- grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends. He retired after 30 plus years of service to Hughes Tool Company. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in the chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Plunk officiating. Burial was in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
