MCARTHUR: Arnold Coleman, 69, of McArthur, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 West High Street, McArthur, with Pastor Wayne Perry and Pastor Gordon Simpson officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

He is survived by two sons, Arnold (Cheryl Smith) Coleman Jr. and Robert E. Coleman; three daughters, Frances Annette (Wayne) Tatman, Brenda K. (Donald Unger) Shotti and Barbara J. (James Dempson) Coleman; grandchildren, Jeff L. Coleman, Autum R. Coleman, Steven A., Coleman, Wayne J. Tatman Jr., Sarah M. Tatman, Jessica "Jettie" Lynn Tatman, Chad E. Shotti, Charles L. Shotti, Chelsea Unger, Kimberly J.Unger, Jeremiah A. Dempsey, Breahanna M. Dempsey, Shauna M. Dempsey, Jessica Dempsey, James W. Dempsey III, Ryan R. Coleman and Robert L. Coleman; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth D. Reese, Eathan A. Coleman, Isaac R. Faris and Caitlyn E. Pickett; one brother, Eugene (Betty) Coleman; sisters-in-law, Martha Coleman, Bonnie (Pete) Butcher, Mary LeMaster and Helen LeMaster; brother-in-law, William (Jeanatte) LeMaster.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lavern "Vernie" Coleman; wife, Sarah Frances) (LeMaster) Coleman; one brother, Ralph Coleman; one sister, Evelyn Coleman; granddaughter, Carleigh Nicole Smith; Brothers-in-law, James LeMaster, Robert LeMaster and Calvin Coleman.
